B2B IT agency · Antananarivo

The IT team you don't have to hire.

Your servers, your backups, your access rights and your business tools: we hold them all year, or for the length of one job. You pay for the skill while the work lasts, not for a salary all year round.

Above: your business, and one point of contact

Load shedding · line failures · ageing hardware · nobody to ask

Konsolia is the console: the single desk your IT is run from. You have one place to call; behind it, four areas answer. The ground is what operating here actually looks like.

The ground we work on

What stops a business here

An IT failure in Antananarivo does not look like an IT failure elsewhere. The four situations below are the ones that genuinely cost days, and not one of them is solved by buying software.

The power goes, and something does not come back

Load shedding does not break machines; it breaks whatever was writing at the time — a database, a shared file, a print queue. The UPS holds for ten minutes, the cut lasts ninety, and the next morning the database will not come back up.

What we doClean automatic shutdown before the battery runs out, restart in the right order, and a backup that was tested the day before.

The line goes down, or your IP address is blacklisted

A fibre cut is obvious immediately. Blacklisting is not: messages leave without error and never arrive. You find out a week later, over a quote the client never received.

What we doBackup line switched over automatically, reputation of outgoing addresses monitored continuously.

Nobody knows what is running any more, or what it is for

A system that has grown by successive additions has never stopped long enough to be written down anywhere. The server nobody dares switch off, the former provider’s account still active, the service installed “just to try” and in production for three years.

What we doAn inventory of what runs, what is exposed and what depends on what. Written down, handed over, and kept current.

The backup has never been restored

A backup that has never been restored is not a backup, it is an intention. The day you need it, you find it stopped running eight months ago, or that it holds everything except the application database.

What we doA real restore onto a test machine, on an agreed date, with the report that goes with it.

The four areas we run

What the console runs for you

Four areas, and you can buy them separately. Most clients start with just one — the one keeping them awake.

Servers, backups, continuity

The aim fits in one sentence: you should hear about an incident from us, not from a member of staff who can no longer work. Monitoring that raises the alarm before your phone does, backups proven by an actual restore, and a written report on your servers every morning — whether the system is already in place or still to be built.

  • Your servers held all year, on your premises or hosted, without hiring for it
  • Your servers consolidated: fewer machines to pay for, back up and watch
  • Backups proven by restoring them, recovery plan written down
  • Monitoring, and a health report every day
Already achieved

Production estate migrated from VMware to Proxmox with no loss of service.

Security and access

Nothing gets closed before we know what is open: the inventory comes before the quote, not the other way round. Fixes then follow the order of what they would cost if left waiting, and every package delivered states in writing what is still outstanding. No six-month programme before closing what is open today.

  • An inventory of what is exposed, ranked by severity
  • Every account has the rights its job needs — and your former provider no longer has theirs
  • When something goes wrong, someone picks up and you know when you restart
  • Reputation of your outgoing IP addresses kept under watch
Already achieved

Zero minutes of downtime caused by a blacklisted IP address since reputation monitoring was put in place.

Automation and control

Two costs go unnoticed because nobody ever decided on them: the subscription renewed because it was already there last year, and the hour spent again every week by someone you pay to do something else. We put a figure on both, line by line, and we resell none of the tools we recommend. You decide on amounts.

  • The steps redone every week start running on their own
  • Reports and exports that produce themselves
  • Subscriptions and renewals reviewed, with the figures
  • Your own team brought up to speed
Already achieved

80% less time spent sorting incoming email; estate health report delivered every morning.

Your business tools, and the site that goes with them

When the bottleneck is not a machine but the information, the cost appears nowhere in the budget: it is counted in hours spent looking for a file, asking again for a figure, checking who approved what. We build the tool that puts that back in order, and we deliver it hosted and in service — not as a demonstration.

  • The missing tool, built around the way you work rather than the reverse
  • A showcase or institutional site you keep up to date without calling us
  • Your spreadsheets and paper registers taken over, without retyping them
  • The tool stays yours: it leaves with you if you change provider
Already achieved

Private secondary school: enrolments now arrive online, and re-enrolment is done by scanning the QR code on the report card, with nothing re-keyed.

The results quoted on this page were achieved by our founder in a previous role, before Konsolia was set up. They can be checked in conversation.

How we work

Four stages, in this order

The order matters: nobody prices a job honestly without having looked at it first. It is also what lets you stop after the first stage if the diagnosis does not convince you.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We survey what exists before proposing anything: what runs, what is exposed, what is no longer being backed up, and what depends on what. You receive a written document, ranked by severity, putting a figure on what each point costs you if it waits.

    Written assessment report

  2. 02

    Pricing by work package

Scope, duration and price are set before the first intervention, and split into packages that do not depend on one another. You take one, two, or none: what is not a priority waits without holding back the rest.

A quote per package, no opaque lump sum

  3. 03

    Delivery and business test

Nothing goes into production in one block: every stage has its way back prepared before it is started. And every package delivered comes with a test written in your words: you run the scenario yourself before signing off and paying.

A test procedure you run yourself

  4. 04

    Handover

What was done is documented and handed over: access, procedures, what to keep an eye on. You must be able to change provider without asking our permission — that is the only proof the work is finished.

    Documentation handed over, access returned

Our structure, stated plainly

A team assembled per mission

Konsolia is not a forty-person consultancy and does not claim to be. One permanent mission lead, plus freelancers and consultants brought in according to what the work package calls for. You know exactly who is working on your premises and in what capacity.

One point of contact, start to finish

The mission lead carries out the assessment, prices the work, follows the delivery and stays reachable afterwards. There is no salesperson who promises and then disappears, and no file changing hands between signature and site work.

Skills arrive per package

Networking, development, data, electrical work: each specialist is engaged for the package where they are needed, and only from people who have already proven themselves on a job. You are not billed for a full team on a job that needs a third of one.

What this changes for you

No payroll to carry between jobs, so a cost that follows what you actually need. And no skill imposed on you because it happened to be on the bench: we go and find the one the package requires.

What this does not change

The commitment is made by Konsolia, not by the individual. A package delivered badly gets redone, and we are the ones you call. Confidentiality and access are contracted at agency level, for everyone who sets foot on your premises.

What we can do

Work already delivered

Every entry corresponds to a real job. Clients are anonymised where the contract requires it.

Infrastructure

VMware to Proxmox migration on production estates

Coming off licence on servers carrying the directory, the business application and the file shares. Inventory first, backups proven by an actual restore, then a package-by-package switchover with a way back prepared at each step.

No loss of business observed on the migrations carried out

Development

School management platform and digital workspace

Public site, online enrolment, and portals for pupils, teachers, parents and administration, through to report cards. Around 35 entities, token authentication in an httpOnly cookie, deployed to production in containers.

Online enrolment and re-enrolment by QR code, with nothing re-keyed each year

Monitoring

Predictive monitoring with AI-assisted analysis

The condition of the estate collected continuously, drift detected before it becomes a failure, and a readable report delivered every morning rather than one more alert in an already full inbox.

Estate health report delivered every morning

Governance

Software compliance audit

A census of the software actually installed on workstations, checked against the licences held, showing what has been installed without authorisation.

Gap between licences held and software installed, quantified

Automation

Automatic sorting of incoming email

Incoming messages qualified, classified and routed to the right person, with a record of what was handled and by whom.

80% less time spent sorting incoming email

Continuity

IP reputation monitoring and blacklist prevention

Continuous checking of the reputation of outgoing addresses, an alert on the first listing, and a delisting procedure run before mail is affected.

Zero minutes of downtime caused by a blacklisted IP

What we built for ourselves

Our products

Konsolia doesn't just operate third-party tools: it builds its own too, for itself and for its clients. This is the proof, not a promise.

First step

Start with the assessment

It is the only commitment to make for now. You receive a written document stating what runs, what is exposed, what is no longer backed up, and what each point costs if it is left alone. The document is yours: it stays useful even if you do not work with us.

  • A first conversation, on site or remote, to frame the scope
  • The written assessment, ranked by severity
  • A price per work package, which you weigh line by line
